Alfa Romeo 75 cars were noted for almost perfect balance between the front and rear axle. Designers managed to achieve the optimum weight distribution by placing the transmission and differential in the rear by the Transaxle scheme. The drive was at the rear pair of wheels.

Alfa Romeo Control diagnostic computer constantly monitored the main vehicle systems. The manufacturer managed to make the car interior comfortable and ergonomic. The front seats and the rear seating had an advanced lateral support.

Thanks to impressive dynamic characteristics, the model was used extensively in motorsport. The car accelerated to 100 km/h in just 9 seconds. Mario Gabriele Andretti and Nicola Larini participated in international competitions in Alfa Romeo 75 Turbo cars.

The model was a commercial success, but it had not acquired great popularity in the automotive market. There were released about 387 000 Alfa Romeo cars 75 in total. The car production was stopped in 1992.
