Alfa Romeo Brera is a sports coupe produced from 2005 to 2010. In 2006, the design of the car received awards from the British magazines 芦European Automotive Design禄 and 芦Autocar禄, and in 2007, according to the 芦What Diesel Car?禄 magazine Alfa Romeo Brera was recognized as the best sports coupe of the year.

At the Motor Show 2002 in Geneva, a Brera concept car was presented, designed by the famous designer Giorgetto Giugiaro of ItalDesign. The car impressed common audience and experts by its upwards opening doors, an elongated hood and unusual triangular headlights, so it was decided to launch it into mass production.

Presentation of the production version was held again in Geneva in 2005. Some of the glamor of the concept car had been lost, in particular, the doors opened as usual, but otherwise the car appearance was as bright and elegant. Compared with the concept, Alfa Romeo Brera production cars somewhat diminished in size. The vehicle dimensions were: length 4400 mm, 1800 mm in width and 1300 mm in total height.

Alfa Romeo Brera cars have a long hood with original stamping, tapered headlights niches, a massive bumper with wide air intake and the original triangular grille. Back is convex, with elongated headlights. The design was so successful that within five years of production it was minimally adjusted only once: in 2008 mirrors became folding and body lines got smoother.

Four-seater cabin trimming is made of high quality materials - leather, aluminum, expensive plastic. A three-spoke, leather-trimmed steering wheel is adjustable for height and tilt. Dashboard is convenient and concise: between the speedometer and tachometer there is a screen of the onboard computer where all the information is displayed. The center console, where there are numerous sensors, is also very functional. Alfa Romeo Breracars were available in two trim levels - Medium and Sky View.

In 2008 the release of a special limited edition Alfa Romeo Brera S was announced for the UK market. It was developed by a British firm Prodrive, specializing in standard car refinement. In the same year there was a special edition of roadsters Alfa Romeo Spider Mille Miglia, by the release of which the car manufacturer decided to celebrate 11 Alfa Romeo cars victories in the historic tournament Mille Miglia (the last of which was achieved 60 years ago, in 1948). Only 11 roadsters were released, each serial number had been engraved on a silver plate in the cabin. Finally, in 2009, yet another limited edition Alfa Romeo Brera/Spider was launched, named after the design company, in cooperation with which these vehicles were created, - Italia Independent.
