Besides, the Milanese coachbuilder Carrozzeria Colli constructed a wagon Alfa Romeo Giulietta Promiscua (91 copies of this car were produced).

In 1959 at the Frankfurt Motor Show the first restyling of the first generation model was introduced. The developers moved the fuel tank cap closer to the rear bumper, also changed the form of the front headlamps and grille, fenders acquired more rounded shape. In the autumn of 1961 Alfa Romeo Giulietta cars transformed again, changes again occurred in the front part of the body.

In 1965 the production of the model ceased in connection with the release of Alfa Romeo Giulia to the market.

The interior was stylish and eye-catching, the instrument panel was ergonomic, front seats had a lot of adjustments and the back seat was designed for three seats.

In the autumn of 2013 Alfa Romeo Giulietta received minor exterior changes. Chrome steel fog lamp bezel and a larger corporate label became the distinctive features of the new exterior. Internal changes were made too: the old push-button appliances were replaced with a touch interactive console with navigation system, the form of the steering wheel and trim materials were changed.
