Opel Agila
Opel Agila cars are produced since 2000 till present. For years of production, two generations were presented. Assembling of cars of the first generation was organized in Poland, and of the second generation 鈥� in Hungary.
Model A
The Opel Agila car was presented at the Geneva motor show in 2000. Cars of the first generation were produced till 2003 in a body of a minivan. The model differed in the compact dimensions, high level of maneuverability, good visibility. U-turning radius of Opel Agila equals 4,8 m. In the passenger compartment there were four seats. The trunk volume made 248 l.
The interior of the model was simple and accurate. The steering wheel, dashboard shape, an arrangement of switches and buttons were borrowed from the Opel Astra model.
The electric power steering, two airbags, safety belts pretensioners, and also heated rear window were included in a basic package.
Model A restyling
In August, 2003, there was a restyling of the Opel Agila car of the first generation as a result of which the design of front and back bumpers was changed. Also the colour gamma of materials of an inner trim was extended. The anti-lock brake system was included in a basic package.
Opel Agila updated model was more eco-friendly 鈥� all engines met standards of Euro 4.
Opel Agila II generation
In 2007 at the Frankfurt motor show the second generation of the Opel Agila model debuted. The modernized car has kept a traditional practicality, but had modern interior design and an exterior. New colours of an inner trim and body painting became available. The restyled car differed in good aerodynamics.
Four airbags were included in a basic package, and among additional options the system of electronic stability control (ESP) has appeared.
