ACCESSIBILITY STATEMENT
The European Accessibility Act (EAA) aims to improve the accessibility of products and services for people with disabilities. This Act has been incorporated into national legislation by all EU Member States (i.e. Germany: Barrierefreiheitsstärkungsgesetz (BFSG)). In line with the new legal requirements under the EAA and related national laws, we are committed to continually improving the user experience for all users, in accordance with the relevant accessibility standards.
This accessibility statement applies to the following Products: AUTODOC Webshop, AUTODOC Mobile Application, Corporate Website, AUTODOC Club, AUTODOC Help Centre.
COMPLIANCE STATUS
In accordance with the European Accessibility Act, we are committed to fully implementing all the technical requirements (EN 301 549 standard and WCAG 2.2 AA) specified therein in our Products.
Following an external audit by a certified service provider, we can report on the following progress and plans regarding implementing of technical requirements in our Products:
Some Products already comply with the requirements of the EN 301 549 standard and WCAG 2.2 AA, where applicable. With regard to flexibility of the interface, navigation and links, colours and presentation, structure and format, images, forms, tables, script & WAI-ARIA, automatic events, frames, documents & other forms of media and plain language & comprehensibility, the technical requirements have already been partially implemented, and several improvements are being made to the Products, with completion planned for 2025.
Another area of focus is on the topics of 'PDF accessibility' and 'Accessibility of Mobile Applications'. The enhancements of these Products are scheduled for completion in 2025 and 2026.
