Mercedes-Benz SLK Class is a small sports car produced by the German concern Daimler AG. It is released since 1996 till present. It is considered that the name of these series is translated from German as "sports, light and compact". The model is produced in Bremen, Germany. In 2008 at the automobile show in Detroit the updated model of the second generation was presented. New rear-view mirrors were set on the car, the design of front and back bumpers was changed.

Engines were considerably upgraded and the system of fuel supply and distribution was improved that increased the power of engines of all modifications and at the same time reduced fuel consumption. Besides, designers installed more perfect electronic driving stabilizer.

Mercedes-Benz SLK class of the third generation was for the first time presented at the automobile show in Geneva in 2011 in spite of the fact that the concept appeared in 2008. The company presented innovative system of hatch design - the Magic Sky Control. Designers updated the shape of headlights, radiator grille and improved the interior.

In 2015 the updated third generation of the Mercedes-Benz SLK Class model was presented. Updating was dated for the 20 anniversary of the original Mercedes-Benz SLK Class model. The nose began to look more aggressively 鈥� style of hood and bumper was changed. Besides, slight reorganization of engines allowed to get larger efficiency in all modifications.
