Opel Adam is produced since 2012 till present. Production is organized in Eisenach, Germany. The debut of the model was dated for the 150 anniversary of the German carmaker - Opel AG.

History of Opel Adam creation

Opel Adam was presented on September 22, 2012 at the motor show in Paris for the first time. Stock production is carried out since the beginning of 2013. Cars are released in a body of a three-door hatchback only.

Opel Adam cars are constructed on the Gamma platform. They have a stylish modern design: the wide radiator grille and imprinted Opel emblem on the fender. Individual requirements could be considered in designing of an exterior and interior. So, for example, the body and the roof of the car could be painted in different colors for contrast.

The passenger compartment has 4 seats, it is quite spacious, thanks to the Opel Adam dimensions: length makes 3 698 mm, height 鈥� 1 484 mm, and width 鈥� 1 720 mm. Cars are released in four packages: basic, Jam, Glam and Slam. At choice of users 15 kinds of seats and 19 sets of decorative panels are presented.

In this model, designers paid attention not only to the stylish design, but also to the safety and comfort. Six airbags, electronic stability control, 16-inch disks and the air conditioner are included in the basic package. LED running lights, park assist, 18-inch disks and the modern multimedia system with 7-inch colour screen are the additional options.

In March, 2013, at the Geneva motor show the cabriolet body style was presented.

In the British market Opel Adam cars are sold under the Vauxhall trademark.
