Fiat Siena is the budgetary sedan released since 1996 till present. The main difference from other Fiat models is in design: several versions adapted under an external environment in different regions of the world were created on one basis. At the motor show in Montevideo in 2008 the third restyling of Fiat Siena of I generation was presented. The new car almost completely copied Fiat Palio 鈥� cars had one base and similar design of an exterior.

The second generation of the popular budgetary car presented in 2012 got a new name 鈥� Fiat Grand Siena. The prefix 鈥淕rand鈥� symbolized large dimensions of the vehicle. The car received the new Low Cost platform of Fiat Uno of 2010. Headlights, a front grille, bumpers and a spoiler were updated. Production of the new car was organized in Turin.

The interior of Fiat Siena II of generation also underwent changes. For manufacture of seats lightweight materials were used so the curb weight of the car (1 040 kilograms) was decreased by 20 kilograms. Designers improved a noise isolation of the passenger compartment, added the rain sensor, parking assistant sensors and cruise control to the number of options. In the most expensive package the audio Bluetooth system, climate control and light-alloy disks were available.

As Fiat Siena has rather low cost, the Italian company could arrange production of this car worldwide. Today it is manufactured in Democratic People's Republic of Korea, India, China, Poland, the Republic of South Africa, Argentina, Turkey, Vietnam and Brazil. In Europe the model is known under the name of Albea whereas in India it is called Petr. In China the car is made under the name Nanjing Fiat Siena and Nanjing Fiat Perla, and in Northern Korea 鈥� Pyonghwa Hwiparam.
